Crowd enjoys Mike Douglas and 'Naked & Afraid' premiere at Brady's
Sunday evening, April 20, Brady's welcomed reality TV into the house as Discovery Channel’s. "Naked & Afraid" star Mike Douglas screened his episode for the first time. Family, friends, students of Maine Primitive School, and fans of the show watched as Mike battled the jungles of the Philippines.
Left alone with only one item of their choice. Mike, along with Skye Selene of California, battled the heat, snakes, bugs, thirst and hunger for an attempt at making it 21 days. With about a week to go Skye had to be medevacked out due to illness leaving Mike alone. Commitment, perseverance and creativity gave him the edge as Mike made it the full 21 days. Very few make it the distance in this grueling test of endurance and everyone in attendance was thrilled with the outcome.
Mike took questions throughout the evening ranging from “Did you eat bugs?” to “How did you survive without toilet paper?”
Mike’s episode "Schooled by the Jungle" is available to stream now! Want to see how a Mainer schools the jungle, tune in to find out!
Mike is founder of Maine Primitive, located in Augusta, where he teaches people from all over the world how to survive in the wild.
